Collecting 101: Comic Book Art

There many possible tips and advice for those contemplating starting a collection of original artwork from comic books. What follows are some general thoughts and experiences about collecting these items as I am just launching this new website and brand.

What Is Original Comic Book Artwork?

Quite simply, this is the original artwork created in making comic book. This is a collecting hobby that is many decades more along than the primary two categories that are the focus of my YouTube channel and this website (Hollywood and Rock & Roll), so I do not have too much to contribute here that cannot be found elsewhere in much more detail and with much more expertise and experience.

My best advice is to check out and join the website and community, Comic Art Fans. This is an astounding resource for learning about the hobby, networking, buying original artwork and more, so I cannot recommend it enough for anyone from a new collector to the most advanced.

Additional Considerations

There are many, but I wanted to make a short and concise primer here to start and over time I will build out additional content with new posts, pages and of course videos on my YouTube channel.
