Be Curious
I’ve been a television junkie my entire life.
As I’ve gotten older, in many cases, episodic series have in many ways eclipsed film as a preferred medium for me, personally, as I find long form storytelling much more engaging, all things being equal.
Films and television shows are generally character-driven, so more time to delve into characters, when done well, leads to more impactful storytelling.
Having said all that, I’ve watched a lot of television and I have wide-ranging tastes.
I’m not into sports much at all, but I did give Ted Lasso a go in one run after it was all “out there”. Fantastic show.
This one scene was my favorite of the whole series, as there are a lot of interesting truths and philosophies explored extremely well over the course of just a few minutes.
